Rush police probe theft at Marian H.S.

The Rush Township Police Department is investigating a theft at Marian Catholic High School, where $35, an Iphone, and an Ipod touch were stolen from the locker room.

On Feb. 12 at 3:49 p.m., Rush Police arrested a 17 year-old Tamaqua female for steaing $5 worth of merchadise at the Hometown Wal-mart.

David A. Smith, 51, Barnesville, is facing charges for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as DUI refusal charges, after police stopped Smith in the area of Pine Creek Drive on his snowmobile on Feb. 14 at 12:45 a.m. Smith is also facing numerous charges for riding his snowmobile on the roadway.
