Casey will be visiting Lehighton on Monday

U.S. Senator Bob Casey will be in Lehighton on Monday morning to meet with superintendents of school districts in Carbon County to discuss the implementation of over $18 million in funding received by Carbon County school districts that was made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The senator will be at Mahoning Elementary School at 10:15 a.m. Students will demonstrate a project they are working on with new equipment purchased with the federal funds.
