Ecumenical service

The Jim Thorpe Ministerium will host a Lenten service on Tuesday, March 23, at the Immaculate Conception Church, West Broadway, at 7 p.m.

Samuel R. Zeiser, Lutheran Church Bishop and native of Jim Thorpe, will deliver the sermon. Bishop Zeiser was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Heights, and is the son of Mrs. Mildred Zeiser of town.

The service is open to all denominations of the community.

Easter dinner

St. Mark's/St. John's Episcopal Church will host the monthly free community supper on Sunday, March 28, at the church, from 4-6 p.m.

The menu this month will be Easter dinner. All are welcome.
