Man cited for incident at mall

A Schuylkill County man was cited for an incident at the Schuylkill Mall in New CastleTownship.

State police at Frackville said about 8 p.m. on Monday, April 5, Michael C. Linkchorst, 29, of Shenandoah, approached Rebecca A. McElhenny, 28, of Port Carbon, as she was seated in her mother's car in a lot outside the BonTon Store.

He attempted to pull McElhenny from the vehicle by her leg and arm.

Troopers were called and Linkchorst fled the scene.

Charges of harassment will be filed against Linkchorst, troopers said.
