Lehigh man facing child porn charges

A Lehigh County man is facing child pornography and related counts.

On Wednesday, March 31, state police at Fogelsville, along with troopers from the Computer Crime Task Force Unit arrested Jeffrey Allen Kemmerer, 18, of 1013 Redwood Drive, Breinigsville, Upper Macungie Township, on two felony counts each of sexual abuse of children and criminal use of a communication facility; and two misdemeanor counts of obscene and other sexual materials.

Troopers said on March 9 troopers served a search warrant on Kemmerer at his home and seized computers and other computer media. A computer forensic examination was conducted and at the conclusion of the examination it was discovered that Kemmerer used his personal computer to download numerous files containing child pornography.

Kemmerer was arraigned on the charges by District Judge Charles Crawford, troopers said.
