Necklace is stolen in Polk burglary
State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday at a home in Polk Township.
The victim is Toni Ann Tonkay, 38, of Kunkletown.
Police said someone arrived at the scene, 1397 Beltzville Drive, and stole a gold necklace valued at $1,000 from the victim's jewelry box.
