Schuylkill man facing charges

A Schuylkill County man has been charged in connection with a burglary that occurred earlier this year.

State police at Frackville said David Mark Willis, 42, of 529 E. Mahanoy Ave., Girardville, has been charged with entering the residence at 309 W. Main St., Girardville, sometime between Jan. 21 and 30. The property is owned by Stephen Christopher Arzoomanian, 51, of Haverstraw, N.Y.

Taken in the entry was $200 worth of copper piping. Also, damages to the property amounted to about $1,800.

Troopers said Willis later sold the copper piping at a local scrap yard. Willis has been charged with burlgary, criminal trespass, both felonies; and misdemeanor counts of theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
