Miss Margaret Stansberry, Lehighton, vice-chairman of the Democratic party in Carbon County, led a delegation of Carbon County women, in conjunction with a contingent from Northampton County, to Washington D.C. to visit the grave of the late President John F. Kennedy. Miss Stansberry laid a floral tribute upon the grave. The group was met by the honor guard and accorded special privileges in honoring the assassinated chief executive.
