Polk Twp. Historical Society Meeting

The Polk Township Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, April 5 at 7 p.m. at the Polk Township Municipal Building in Kresgeville. Before the business meeting, Elmer Heissam and Norman Burger will present recent photos of the remaining Polk Township barns. Over the years, these barns have steadily disappeared. Today, less than half of them remain.

The public is invited to this presentation and to join the discussion about our barns and their history.

Condolences

Our condolences to the Ronald Kunkle family, who died Monday at Muhlenberg Hospital. He is survived by his wife Melba, daughter Jane, son Ronald, Jr., three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
