April 15, 1985 Frank Rauscher and Todd Bennecoff combine on a five-hit shutout to help Northwestern post a 3-0 Centennial League win over rival Northern Lehigh. Rauscher kept the Bulldogs off the board for five innings while Bennecoff closed out the game with two scoreless innings. Dave Bettler collected three hits, one of them an RBI double. Bennecoff knocked in a pair of runs and also scored one.
