DUI arrests reported in Monroe

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on several driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by officers over the past weekend.

On Friday, March 26, about 2:07 a.m. officers on routine patrol observed a Mercedes Benz being driven erratically along SR611 at SR940. A vehicle stop was made and the driver identified as Annette M. Gibson, 41, of Nazareth. She was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. She was then transported to the Pocono Medical Center, in East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

On Saturday, March 27, at 2:31 a.m. officers stopped a Dodge Durango along SR611 at Knob Rd., in Mt. Pocono, for an equipment violation. The driver was identified as Willie J. Moorer, 46, of Tobyhanna. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety test. He was taken to the PMC for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

On Saturday about 2 p.m. officers received a 9-1-1 call concerning a careless driver traveling southbound on SR115. The caller who reported the incident also stated the driver pulled into A'hart's Market. Police found the vehicle and the driver was identified as Daniel Reposh, 41, of Bear Creek Township.

Police said Reposh had his 12-year-old son in the vehicle with him. Reposh was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken to PMC for a blood test. Reposh is facing additional charges of endangering the welfare of children and several traffic violations, police said.

On Sunday, March 28, about 2:58 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop of a van along SR611 at Sharbaugh Road in Coolbaugh Township for equipment violations. The driver was identified as Gary Wiesel, 35, of Clarks Summit. Wiesel was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was taken to the PMC for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.
