Driver cited after Schuylkill crash

The driver involved in a one-vehicle crash about 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, along a Schuylkill County road was cited.

State police at Frackville said David Guinn, of Ringtown, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on SR4031, a mile north of SR54, in West Mahanoy Township, when he fell asleep at the wheel. The car went onto the berm and struck a large rock.

Troopers said Guinn was not injured with damages moderate to the car.

Troopers said Guinn was cited.
