Schuylkill woman facing theft count
A Schuylkill County woman is facing a charge of retail theft.
State police at Schuylkill Haven allege that Angela Barry, 38, of Schuylkill Haven, was observed taking $36 worth of groceries from the Giant Food Market in the Cressona Mall, North Manheim Township, without paying for them. The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 7, about 4:05 p.m.
Barry was arraigned before District Judge James Ferrier, of Orwigsburg, and committed to the county prison in Pottsville when she failed to post $500 cash bail.
