All Night Party Committee

The final business meeting for the Class of 2010 All Night Party will be held on Wednesday, May 12 at 7 p.m. in the high school library.

Parents will be voting on food, entertainment, prizes.

All suggestions are welcomed and all are encouraged to attend.

Lansford

AMVETS to meet

The Lansford AMVETS Post will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the post home. Commander Michael Frey will conduct the meeting.

Lansford Alive

The next regular meeting of the Lansford Alive general membership will be held on Thursday, May 13, at 6:30 p.m. at Rosie's Restaurant. Light refreshments will be served. Local business owners and interested members of the community are welcome to attend.

Borough council

The Lansford Borough Council will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m. President Robert Gaughan will be in charge of the session.

PV Knee-Hi

The next regular monthly meeting of the Panther Valley Knee Hi will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, at The Sports Zoo, Lansford. Anyone interested in coaching is urged to attend.

Holy Communion

Youths from St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford, received the sacrament of Holy Eucharist for the first time during a recent Mass.

They include Rachel Chuma, Erica Baba, Carly Bachert, Brianna Earley, Samantha Earley, Sarah Hood, Emilee Kwaak, Francesca LaDuca, Alexa Sanderfer, Biana Serina, Sophia Tuccillo, Olivia Weaver, Matthew Bonass, Anthony Costello, Edward Dunn, Seth Feisel, Adam Gilbert, Jakub Kantyka, Dennis Rosahac, Jordan Serina and Maxwell Vermillion.

Summit Hill

Legion to meet

The monthly meeting of American Legion Post 316, Summit Hill, will be held tonight at 6:30 in the post home. Commander W. Kevin O'Donnell will be in charge of the session, during which time plans for the upcoming Memorial Day parade and services will be discussed.

A meeting of the Home Association will immediately follow the post's meeting.

Council meeting

The Summit Hill Borough Council will hold its monthly meeting tonight at 7 o'clock in the borough hall. Joseph Weber, president, will be in charge of the session.
