April 17, 1963 Denny Yenser and Mike Willingham each collect three hits and two RBIs to help Lehighton post a 12-6 victory over neighboring Jim Thorpe. Willingham also scores a pair of runs for the Indians, who used a six-run fourth inning to take control of the game. Daryl Bowman earns the pitching win, pitching all seven innings while allowing just four hits. Mike Novatnak adds a double, three runs scored and two RBIs.
