Tamaqua police probing assault

Tamaqua police are investigating an alleged assault that reportedly took place at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, April 6.

According to police, Clovis Williams, of 208 W. Spruce St., Tamaqua, and Stephen Hill, of 65 Bowe St., Tamaqua, were involved in an altercation at Williams' home. The argument became physical and Hill ended up with a fractured orbital eye.

Charges are pending completion of the incident.
