Van found on fire in Schuylkill
A van was found on fire in Schuylkill County.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said troopers were called to Swopes Valley Road in Pine Grove Township, about 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, for a report of a vehicle fire. Troopers said a Ford van, 2000-2005 model, was found on fire. The van contained numerous tires in the cargo area, troopers added.
The owner of the van has not yet been determined. Volunteers from the Ravine and Suedberg fire companies extinguished the blaze. No one was injured in the incident.
