Teen cited after Monroe crash

A 15-year-old Monroe County teenager has been charged with driving without a license after she was involved in a crash Wednesday evening, May 5.

State police at Lehighton said Jennifer Dupoux, 15, of Saylorsburg, was traveling west on Meixell Valley Road, Ross Township, at around 8:14 p.m.

The accident occurred when Dupoux attempted to make a sharp right hand turn in her 1988 Dodge 330 Series onto Pennell Road, lost control and exited the southbound lane of travel and struck a tree.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Borger's. Dupoux, who was wearing her seat best, was not injured.

In addition to the driving without a license charge, Dupoux was also charged with driving too fast for conditions.
