Jewelry taken in Monroe break-in

Several pieces of jewelry were taken in a burglary that occurred in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said the home of Ann Maricle, 62, of 1302 Pine Rd., Sun Valley, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, was entered sometime between Monday, April 26, and Wednesday. No value was set for the the missing jewelry.

Troopers are also investigating a criminal mischief report. Vera Solodkin, of 146 Lenape Trail, Mountain Lakes, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, reported someone smashed the front window of her home. The incident occurred sometime between April 18 to 24.
