Schuylkill hit and run is probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a hit and run accident that was reported about 2:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12.

Troopers said the accident occurred at 88 N. Greenview Rd., in North Manheim Township. According to troopers a vehicle was driven through the lawn at the above stated address and struck a parked 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The driver then fled the scene.

Damages were to the entire rear of the Jeep, which was pushed into garage doors causing additional damages.

The hit and run vehicle may be a red in color pickup truck or sports utility vehicle.
