Charlene Sue Steeley, 6 Rogosky St., Quakake, started a divorce proceeding against Andrew Philip Steeley, 2083 Allenburnt St., Norman, Okla. They were married Dec. 17, 2003.

Mahue Patel, Grenboro, N.C., started a divorce proceeding against Charmi Desai Patel, Telford. They were married April 26, 2006.

Divorce granted

Joseph T. Hollister Jr., was granted a divorce from Jennifer S. Hollister, both of Orwigsburg. They were married Sept. 3, 1999.

Property tax appeal

Pine Grove Area School District won its appeal in court to have a property located in Washington Township increased in value, which will result in an increase in property tax payment. A five-acre tract of land with a nine-room home at 46 Summer Hill Road and owned by Du Van Tran had its market value increased by President Judge Willliam E. Baldwin from $155,421 to $342,000, which increased the assessed valuation of the property for 2010 taxes to $136,458.
