Items accepted will include telephones/cell phones, DVD/VCR players, stereos and speakers, cables/cords and keyboards, laptop computers, printers/fax machines, small appliances, LCD monitors, desktop computers, computer monitors, dehumidifiers, floor copiers, washers and dryers, stoves, air conditioners, televisions, floor freezers and refrigerators.
Slatington Lions Club
There will be a board meeting of the Slatington Lions Club at the Skeet Club at 7 p.m. May 12. An indoor meeting was held Tuesday night at the Moose.
The club is still in need of a Halloween Parade chairperson. This is a great public relations program, and shows the public who and what the club is. If interested, please contact President Steven Walden.
Help is again needed for the Day at the Lake on May 8. For more information, contact Ted Harlan at (610) 767-8377, or e-mail at fshrman5@yahoo.com.
