Theft of diamond ring is probed

State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a diamond ring reported by a Schuylkill County resident.

Troopers said Andrea Michele Evans, 36, of 372 W. Mahanoy Ave., Girardville, reported the ring was removed from her home. She reported the incident at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 29. The ring is valued at $2,500.
