Drug sweep at Jim Thorpe high
Members of the Jim Thorpe police along with Jim Thorpe Area School District personnel and a state police K-9 drug enforcement unit conducted a locker search at the high school on Wednesday, May 12, at about 9 a.m.
As a result police found one locker to have a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a second with drug paraphernalia. Police said the two juvenile students' whose lockers were involved will be charged through the county juvenile probation office.
