Fern Ridge SP probe burglaries

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating three burglaries in recent days.

A break-in occurred at the residence of Miguel Angel Pabon Jr., 48, of 89 Commanche Pines Rd., in Effort, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Entry was made through a ground level basement window. Once inside the criminals removed several items including an X-box 360 and a Wii game system. Also taken were various games to both systems. Entry occurred sometime between May 9 and 12.

Troopers said the home of Valerie Pummell, of 363 Shakespear Circle, Towamensing Trails, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, was entered sometime between May 15-20. The criminals entered through a crawl space and removed wiring off a water pump.

The residence of Donald Singer, 69 Longfellow Circle, Towamensing Trails, was entered sometime between Nov. 9, 2009, and May 20. As in the previous case entry was gained through a crawl space. Removed was copper pipes.
