May 24, 1971 Charlie Hansler tosses a four-hit shutout and Billy Sendel provides the game's only run with a homer as Lehighton registers a 1-0 Lehigh Valley League win over Catasauqua. Hansler walks four batters and strikes out seven. He doesn't earn the victory, though, until Sendel delivers a one-out homer over the fence in left-center. The Indians also receive a pair of hits from Hoffman.
