Man cited for incident at bar

A Schuylkill County man was cited for an incident at a county bar.

State police at Frackville said Kevin Michael Powell, 43, of Girardville, was charged with harassment for an incident that occurred about 2 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at Hall's Nowhere Saloon, located at 200 N. Second St., Girardville.

Troopers said Powell was asked to leave the bar by bartender JoAnn Gregis, 49, of Ashland. As he was escorted to the door by Gregis, Powell proceeded to push open the door into Gregis and then take a swing at her before fleeing the bar.
