Threats incident probed in Monroe

State police at Lehighton are investigating a terroristic threats incident that occurred in Monroe County.

Troopers said unknown persons placed two chemical reaction pressure bottle bombs in the driveway of a 46-year-old female who resides along Cherry Road, in Polk Township. The incident occurred sometime between 10 p.m. June 3 and 8 a.m. June 4. Such devices are considered dangerous, troopers noted.

An investigation into the incident is continuing.
