Minor damage in Schuylkill crash

A Schuylkill County driver escaped injury and caused only minor damages to her vehicle in a crash that occurred about 3:25 p.m. on Thursday, June 17.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Lynette Beretsky, 35, of Auburn, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer southbound on SR61 in West Brunswick Township when she became disoriented due to low blood sugar. The vehicle went off the road and onto the berm then re-entered the road and traveled across all four lanes before striking an embankment with the front end.

After impact the vehicle spun counter-clockwise and came to final rest in the northbound lane.
