Monroe break-in

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Monroe County home.

Troopers said Nurija Medunjanin, 46, of Astoria, N.Y., reported the home he owns along Hickory Lane, in Chestnuthill Township, was entered and tools were taken and damages were done to the interior. The incident occurred sometime between May 17 and 29.

Troopers are also probing a burglary that occurred at 312 Miller Rd., in Reeders, Jackson Township. Forced entry was made through a rear window. Once inside, the home was trashed and items taken. The owner was not identified by police. The incident occurred sometime between 8 and 9 p.m. on May 30.
