Schuylkill County Football Coaches all-star game

The Schuylkill County Football Coaches Association All-Star game will take place on Saturday, June 12th.

Four local TIMES NEWS coverage area teams - Jim Thorpe, Marian Catholic, Panther Valley and Tamaqua - will have 17 players representing their schools on the North squad at Rotary Field in Schuylkill Haven. Kick-off for the annual event will occur at 7 p.m.

Jim Thorpe's Carl St. Hill, Mike Carpenter, and Corey Cinicola, Marian's Joe Kloap, James O'Connor and Scott Nietz, Panther Valley's Ryan Porembo, Greg Pecha, Andrew Tucker, Ryan Richards, Jake Dunn, Ryan Poeldnurk, Casey Lawrence, Jason Harrison, and Tamaqua's Mike Gursick, Erik Krause and Eric James will step foot on the gridiron one last time as high school varsity players. Mahanoy Area, North Schuylkill and Shenandoah Valley seniors will also be part of the North squad.

Wally Hall of Mahanoy Area is head coach for the North, and Mike Farr of Schuylkill Haven is head coach for the South.
