Monroe woman cited for theft
A Monroe County woman has been cited for retail theft.
State police at Fern Ridge said Hanna Khan, 53, of Effort, entered Weiss Market along SR209 at Weir Lake, in Chestnuthill Township, on May 28 about noon and concealed $10.97 worth of merchandise in her purse. She then attempted to leave the store without paying for the items, troopers said.
