Lansford incidents
Lansford police have responded to several recent matters in the borough.
A resident in the 200 block of West Bertsch Street reported at 9 p.m. Thursday, June 10, that there was damage to the front of a vehicle. The right passenger side fender had two dents in it.
On June 6 a person reported vandalism to an 18-speed bike at 10:56 p.m. The bike was parked outside Boyer's Market at the time.
On June 1, Valley Athletic Supply reported that the back window of a company vehicle had been smashed. The damage appears to have been done with a portable battery-operated drill, police said. The battery was still in the back of the car when the damage was discovered.
On June 8, George Dennis reported that his work truck was broken into while parked on his property on Pardee Street. The back of the truck had the lock cut off and removed, and a large number of tools were taken.
Also, a resident of Edgemont reported that a section of valuable wrought iron fencing had been stolen.
