Graduates with honors

Michael C. Kistler graduated Summa Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University on May 8th. Michael graduated with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biotechnology with a minor in Chemistry. He graduated from LCCC with an Associate's Degree in Biotechnology in 2008. He was on the Dean's list all four years and graduated with an overall GPA of 3.98.

Michael was president of the Biotechnology Club, a recipient of the Robert J. Shield's Scholarship for the 09-10 school year, an APSCUF High Honor Award recipient in 2010, and he was also selected by the Biological Science Department to receive the Biotechnology Program Award for his outstanding academic accomplishments at the Sigma XI Honors Banquet.

While a student at ESU, Michael completed two internships at Sanofi Pasteur. He recently accepted a job with Yoh Scientific and will be working for Sanofi Pasteur, Swiftwater.

Michael is the son of Mary Jane Kistler of Andreas and Gary C. Kistler of New Ringgold.

Michael is a 2006 graduate of Tamaqua High School.
