Monroe crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one vehicle crash about 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, at the intersection of SR209 and Rodenbach Lane, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Virginia A. Feldman, 71, of Effort, was attempting to cross the intersection while Edward M. Said, 56, of East Stroudsburg, was southbound on 209. Troopers said Feldman crossed in front of Said with the front portion of his 1994 Volvo 940 hitting Feldman's 2008 Subaru Impreza.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance. Troopers cited Feldman for stop signs and yield signs.
