June 14, 1976 Kris Kunkle hits a grand slam to help Lehighton gain a 6-1 Lehigh Valley Junior Legion win over Northwestern. George Harris gain the pitching win, finishing with a two-hitter. Harris, whose no-hitter is broken up in the sixth inning, strikes out 10 and walks just two. Kunkle ends with two hits, the other a double, and two runs scored. Kevin Blauch adds two hits, one an RBI double, while Matt Reabold also chips in with a pair of hits.
