Tamaqua man facing charges

A Tamaqua man is facing a charge of criminal trespass following an incident that occurred in Ryan Township.

State police at Frackville said Zachary L. Wentz, 22, has been charged in connection with an incident that occurred about 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, at the property of Stephen Dudash, 50, of 1029 Barnesville Drive, Barnesville.

According to troopers at the time and date stated Wentz entered the Dudash property and jumped into his swimming pool. When Dudash observed Wentz in the pool the suspect left in his vehicle traveling eastbound on SR54. A further investigation revealed Wentz's identity and he was charged, troopers said.
