Thanks to all emergency personnel

Dear Editor:

The Jim Thorpe Band would like to thank all emergency personnel for their help in our time of need during the Memorial Day Parade. Two of our marching band students passed out during the parade, with several others having also felt heat exhaustion. Your personnel were right there to help and assist the band members and took over with great confidence. We are very grateful to them. In today's society, it is such a good feeling that there are still people out there to help out in time of need. All of you should be commended for your outstanding performances in meeting the needs of others.
