June 8, 1989 Panther Valley's Erik Pecha and Marian's Greg Izzo both score touchdowns to help the North squad, coached by PV's Tom Bonner, gain a 21-20 victory in the annual Schuylkill County Football Coaches All-Star Classic. Pecha finds the end zone on a 19-yard TD run while Izzo hits paydirt from 25 yards out. The Panthers' Cory Sheridan carries eight times for 31 yards while the Colts' Bob Rafferty finishes with seven tackles and a fumble recovery. Dave Lorchak of PV adds six tackles.
