A driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 2:25 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, along Switzgable Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Wojciech Zagroba, 39, of Brodheadsville, was driving a 1998 Dodge minivan eastbound when he lost control. The van left the road and struck a tree. Zagroba fled the scene on foot but was found at his home, which was about a tenth of a mile from the crash scene.

Zagroba was placed under arrest for DUI, troopers said.
