Harrassment incidents probed

State police at Lehighton are investigating two incidents of harassment.

Troopers said on June 1 Brandon Strohl, 24, of Parryville, came to the barracks in Towamensing Township to report that he was assaulted by Danielle Hoppes, 25, of Parryville, at the Carbon County courthouse in Jim Thorpe. Once at the barracks Hoppes was involved in an altercation with Strohl's mother in the parking lot at the barracks. This incident was observed by a trooper. Troopers said Hoppes was cited twice for harassment.

Troopers said Kenneth William Hawk II, 41, of Weissport, was cited for harassment after he allegedly shoved a 44-year-old female at 320 Bridge St., Weissport. The incident occurred about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 7.
