Two juveniles were cited for having weapons at a school.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on June 8 about 8 a.m. officers were called to the Clear Run Intermediate School in Monroe County. Officers were told that a 13-year-old male student from Pocono Lake brought a knife to school and then gave it to another student on a school bus. The student placed the knife inside his bookbag and brought it into the school. A teacher found the knife in the student's locker, inside the bookbag.

The other student was a 12-year-old male from Tobyhanna, police said. Both students are facing charges of weapons on school property and also one will be charged with institutional vandalism for damaging the school bus seat with the knife. The charges will be filed through the county juvenile probation office.
