Schuylkill burglary

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Schuylkill County home.

The residence of Charles and Darlene Stein, 1089 Chestnut Rd., West Brunswick Township, was entered by unknown persons who forced open a door. Once inside the criminals removed a floor-model gun safe containing several long guns, old coins and personal papers. Also taken was several items of jewelry and five cans of change.

The break-in occurred sometime between 3 and 6:15 p.m. on Friday, June 25. Troopers said a light blue in color Chevrolet or GMC van is thought to be connected with the incident.
