Franklin Township couple wed 51 years

Mr. and Mrs. Truman Andrews of Franklin Township recently observed their 51st wedding anniversary.

The couple were married on June 27, 1959 at St. Paul's Church, Big Creek, by the Rev. Paul Buehrle.

Mrs. Andrews is the former Joy Ann Young, daughter of the late Stella Ahner of Lehighton.

Mr. Andrews is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Andrews of Slatington. He is retired from Bethlehem Steel.

The Andrews have three children: Wendy Jo Williams, Scott Alan Andrews and Marci Ann Warnkin. They also have three grandchildren.
