Criminal mischief is investigated

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. June 13 at the corner of Countryside Drive and Arthur Lane in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

The victim is Timothy Hassan of Brodheadsville.

Police said someone removed a mailbox from two houses north of the victim and placed it in the bed of Hassan's truck, damaging it in the process.

In another report, police said criminal mischief activity was reported at 9:53 p.m. June 21 by karen Deegan of Brodheadsville.

Police said someone shot paintballs at her home located at 21 Highview Drive, Stamford Heights, Chestnuthill Township, damaging the siding and two window screens.
