Eagle Scout receives kudos from Eldred Elementary and PVSD

Justin Nuyen of Boy Scout Troop 98 earned his Eagle Scout award, with help from members of his troop, troop leaders and parents, by repairing and repainting playground benches, playground equipment and the playground United States map at Eldred Elementary School in Kunkletown. He was presented with a certificate of appreciation from Mr. Kondisko, Eldred's principal and given recognition for a job well done at the Pleasant Valley School District's school board meeting. Dr. Douglas Arnold, PVSD's superintendent said, "You did a great job. It's one heck of an acomplishment. Congratulations." Justin is the son of Jim and Eileen Nuyen of Brodheadsville. He is a ninth grader at Pleasant Valley Middle School.
