Gilbert couple wed 30 years
Mr. and Mrs. Michael V. Kelly
Michael V. "Mick" and Jean M. "Jeannie" Kelly of Gilbert, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their vows at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Brodheadsville. The ceremony was celebrated Deacon Bob O'Connor.
They were married on June 16, 1979 in St. Joseph's Church, Summit Hill.
Mr. Kelly is originally from Fountain Hill and is the son of the late Vincent and Elizabeth Kelly. Mrs. Kelly is originally from Summit Hill and is the daughter of the late James and Margaret Kennedy.
The Kellys have two children; Courtney, 27, lives in Walnutport with Chad Loch; Danny, 25, lives in Slatington with his fiancee, Rose Blythe, and their son, Vincent.
The five of them were witnesses for the vow renewal.
Following the renewal ceremony, a celebration was held at The Inn at Weir Lake. Music was supplied by the bagpipe and drums of Cheryl Lozier and company.
