Logan Martin Schmidt

Torrey and Allison Schmidt of Palmyra welcomed a new addition to their family on Aug. 15 when Logan Martin Schmidt was born in the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, weighing in at 8 pounds, 13 ounces. The newest member of the family was born at 9:18 p.m. and was 21 inches long.

Maternal grandmother is Connie Koch of Pottsville, while Rick and Angela Schmidt of Tamaqua are the baby's paternal grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Tom and June Herring of Schuylkill Haven; Martin and Helen McCormack of Sciota, New York; and Richard and Jayne Schmidt of Bucyrus, Ohio.
