Man hurt in fall from roof

One person was seriously injured Sunday morning after falling from a roof at a home along the 1900 block of Hemlock Drive, Mahoning Township. The incident occurred at 10:15 a.m. when the victim fell from the roof in the front of the home onto the lawn. The person was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics and members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance, then flown by Penn Star helicopter to a Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center. Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
