Air Force promotion

Richard and Kathy (Mack) Weiss Sr. of Palmerton announce that their son, Zachary Weiss was promoted in rank from Airman with the United States Air Force to Airman First Class. He received his promotion on Sept. 28, while serving at Misawa Air Force Base, Misawa, Japan.

Weiss is part of a Supply Troop working in Material Management in the C.W.D. (Chemical Warfare Division) of Weapons Accountability.

He is working toward becoming a Senior Airman.

Weiss is the brother of Rick Weiss Jr. and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Dailey and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Fronheiser, all of Walnutport.
